ONE LOVE FOUNDATION: Sharon and Lexie Love Appearing on ABC’s “Katie”
On a Sept. 20, 2012, episode on ABC’s “Katie” show dugs in to the epidemic of Dating Violence and featured an appearance by Sharon and Lexie Love. The Loves spoke about their daughter ans sister Yeardley, the trial, and discussed the new chapter for the One Love Foundation, which is to combat Relationship Violence in the United States.
Katie Couric returned to daily television with the premiere of her new, nationally syndicated talk show, “Katie,” on Monday, September 10th. The one-hour program, in front of a live studio audience in New York, was cleared on leading broadcast television stations in more than 96% of the country.
“Katie” reaches viewers beyond the television screen. The show includes invited bloggers in the studio audience every day who blog about the show as it airs. Viewers are invited to interact with Katie via Facebook, Twitter and on her website katiecouric.com, so they can be included in the conversation.
The
One Love Foundation was established in 2010 by Sharon and Lexie Love, as well as additional family and friends to honor the memory of Yeardley Reynolds Love. The “One” represents the number Yeardley wore on her jersey during her high school and college lacrosse career. The number has since been retired by the University of Virginia in her memory.
